A Ukrainian “certificate of no criminal record” commonly refers to an extract from the Ministry of Internal Affairs information system. We help clarify how to obtain and prepare it for a particular institution. Apostille Centre has provided legal services since 2008.
When individual assistance is useful
- You are abroad and cannot attend in person.
- You cannot use the online service.
- Names, previous surnames or transliterations differ between documents.
- You need to coordinate receipt, authentication, translation and delivery.
We compare the recipient’s requirements with your available information. If a record requires checking, we identify the enquiries and supporting evidence that may be needed. Representative authority is clarified before ordering.
Official application routes
The Ministry states that extracts are produced by its Department of Informatisation, rather than territorial service centres. Individuals can use the Ministry’s citizen portal or Diia. Official Ministry explanation.
Ask the recipient which extract type and electronic or paper format it needs. Official Ministry portal.
How we organise assistance
- Clarify the purpose, institution and intended submission date.
- Check names and the available application route.
- Agree the necessary steps, cost and delivery.
- Assist with the agreed actions and transfer of the result.
The competent authority determines the extract’s contents. The receiving institution decides whether to accept it.
Apostille, translation and document age
Authentication and translation requirements depend on the country and procedure. Do not assume that a printed electronic file is equivalent to a paper original without confirmation. Ask the recipient how recent the extract must be.
Starting your enquiry
Describe your task and any discrepancies. There is no need to send passport details or scans in the first message: necessary information will be requested separately after the process is agreed. Cost, fees and possible urgent handling are discussed individually.
