When the usual process does not fit your situation
Our clients include people abroad, people unable to attend an institution in person and those facing different spellings of their name, old civil status records or missing register information. We examine the obstacle and agree possible steps, supporting evidence and representative authority.
The record’s preservation and storage location must be checked. Obtaining a replacement document does not itself correct an error in the underlying record. Where information needs correction, we first clarify the grounds and the competent institution.
Eligibility and supporting documents
A replacement certificate is issued to a person legally entitled to that particular document. Identity documents, evidence of family relationship or another basis and proof of representative authority may be required. The exact document set depends on the type of certificate and your circumstances.
How to begin
- Describe the document, registration date and place, destination country and receiving institution.
- We clarify eligibility, record availability and the possible application route.
- We agree the document set, cost, estimated timing and transfer arrangements.
- Where needed, we separately agree apostille, translation and delivery.

Questions before ordering
Can I enquire from abroad?
Yes, the initial consultation can be remote. We check whether a representative can obtain the document, what authority is required and whether personal attendance is necessary for your procedure.
What if the record is old or cannot be found?
We clarify its storage location and whether an archive request is needed. Availability and condition of the record affect the procedure; the possible outcome is assessed after these checks.
What are the cost and timing?
Please call to discuss them. Archive searches, additional checks, translation and delivery may involve separate stages.
