We help clarify document preparation for Georgia and the use of Georgian documents abroad. First, we identify the issuing country, purpose and institution’s requirements. We then agree on document retrieval, necessary certification, translation and delivery of the result.
Ukrainian documents for Georgia
Study, family procedures, employment and relocation may require different sets of documents. Ask the recipient for its document list and preparation requirements. We check whether your existing document is suitable or a replacement, extract or archival confirmation is needed.
- Certificates and family documents: birth, marriage, name changes and proof of family relationships.
- Educational documents: diplomas, supplements and information requested by the educational institution.
- Certificates and extracts: criminal record documents and other information requested by the institution.
- Powers of attorney and company documents: the required set depends on the particular action.
We check whether an apostille or other certification is needed according to the applicable international arrangements, document type and recipient’s requirements. Do not order an additional stage before this check. Georgian translation and its certification are clarified separately.
Georgian documents for other countries
If a document was issued in Georgia, tell us the destination country and receiving institution. We consider the available support procedure, whether an original is needed and any representative’s authority.
Georgia’s Public Service Development Agency (SDA) publishes apostille and legalisation rules. Applications are accepted at its territorial offices and Public Service Hall branches. An apostille authenticates the signature, signatory’s capacity and relevant seal; translation is considered separately. Official SDA rules.
Electronic and paper versions should not be assumed interchangeable for every procedure. We clarify the required form and submission method before an order. The competent authority issues and certifies the document; the recipient decides whether to accept the set.
When the situation is more complicated
- You are abroad and cannot attend in person.
- A document is lost, was issued long ago or needs to be reissued.
- Your name is spelled differently in Ukrainian, Georgian and other foreign documents.
- An institution has returned the documents with comments.
- Actions in two countries and delivery need to be coordinated.
We start with the cause of the difficulty. We compare available information, written requirements and possible application methods. After checking, we propose a sequence of actions suited to your situation.
Information for the first consultation
- The document name and issuing country.
- The destination country, institution and purpose.
- Whether you have the original and the recipient’s requirements.
- Where you are and what you cannot arrange yourself.
- Your preferred completion date.
A description of the task is enough for the first message. We request copies and necessary personal information separately after agreeing on the working process.
Common questions
Is an apostille always needed for Georgia?
Certification requirements are checked for the particular document and procedure. Provide the recipient’s requirements so we can identify the applicable process before submission.
Can we start remotely?
Yes, a consultation can begin from any country. Further actions without personal attendance and a representative’s authority are assessed individually.
What if names are spelled differently?
Tell us which documents differ and whether your surname changed. We review the sequence of spellings and possible supporting evidence; correcting a record or translation is considered separately.
