Apostille Centre helps prepare documents for permanent residence procedures: obtaining missing certificates and extracts, arranging apostille or legalisation, translation and certification. We have provided legal services since 2008. We start with your destination, the basis of your application and the recipient’s written requirements.

First, identify the procedure
“Permanent residence documents” can refer to different tasks: applying for permanent residence in another country, completing Ukraine’s procedure for a Ukrainian citizen’s departure for permanent residence abroad, or obtaining a permanent residence permit in Ukraine as a foreign national. These are separate procedures with their own grounds and document lists.
For Ukrainian procedures, consult the State Migration Service’s official pages on departure for permanent residence abroad and permanent residence permits in Ukraine. For a foreign permit, use the current checklist from the relevant immigration authority.
How to establish the document list
There is no single set for every country and application basis. Depending on the procedure, the recipient may request records of birth, marital status, name changes, criminal record, education, income, housing or other evidence. These are examples of categories, not a ready-made mandatory checklist.
- Identify the country, procedure and receiving institution.
- Keep the official checklist and requirements for format and date of issue.
- Note which originals are available, what is missing and which details differ.
- Confirm the translation language, certification method and need for apostille or legalisation.
Translation, apostille and legalisation
Not every document requires an apostille, and not every translation must be notarised. Requirements depend on the document, country, applicable international agreements and institution. A translator recognised in the destination country may be required. We agree the sequence before preparation begins.
If you are abroad or need replacement documents
We help clarify replacement certificates, extracts, inconsistent names and evidence of surname changes. Representation and transfer of originals must be checked separately. We do not promise to replace steps requiring personal attendance with remote assistance.
How to start
- Describe the country, procedure and difficulty through our online enquiry. An outline of the task is enough for your first message.
- We compare the requirements with available documents and identify which copies are needed for review.
- We agree the scope, cost, fees, estimated timeframe and transfer of documents.
- We arrange the agreed preparation stages.
The competent authority decides whether to grant residence rights and accept documents. Preparing a document set does not guarantee approval. Any urgent option is assessed after review.
